About BED'R

BED’R is a professional home rental agency in the city of Groningen and surrounding region. We specialize in the rental of furnished apartments and studios. BED’R provides housing solutions for both short-term (short stay) and long term rentals for individuals and businesses (corporate housing). For both unfurnished properties and fully furnished apartments, please contact us.

No agency costs will be charged.

Why should we choose BED’R?

At BED’R we try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our apartments are private, very luxurious and fully furnished.

Where are the BED’R apartments located?

The BED’R apartments are situated at several locations near the city center of Groningen.


How long can I rent an apartment?

It’s possible to rent an apartment for as long as you need.

What is the minimum renting period?

The minimum rental period at BED’R is one week (7 nights). For shorter stays please visit us at

How much are the agency costs?

No agency costs will be charged if you rent an apartment at BED’R.

Can my employer rent an apartment for me?

Yes, that’s possible. We will send an invoice to your employer.

What is the notice period for long term rentalss?

The notice period for long term rental is 30 days.

Do I have to register my temporary address to the policy?

If you are staying more than 4 months in the Netherlands, you must register to the policy.

Do I have to sign a rental contract?

This is not necessary if you rent an apartment at BED’R.

Do I need an insurance for a long term rental?

You need an insurance in your own country by your own insurer.

Do you allow subletting?

Subletting is not allowed.


Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, that’s possible. No cancellation fees will be charged if you cancel 30 days before your arrival.

If I cancel my booking, will I pay a fee?

Bookings can be cancelled up to 30 days before arrival. After that, you will be charged in full for your booking.

How do I know if my booking was cancelled?

After you canceled a booking, you receive a confirmation by email.

Can I change my booking?

You can send us a request by email or make a call. We will let you know if your request is possible.

Is it possible to do an early check in?

Our check in time is 15:00 pm. In some cases it is possible to do an early check in. Please contact us if you want an early check in.

Is it possible to get extra beds in the room?

Extra beds are not possible.

Is the stay included with cleaning?

Yes, when you book an apartment at BED’R there will be a final cleaning. It is also possible to have a weekly cleaning. This will bring you extra costs above your rental price. Please let us know if you want a weekly cleaning.

Are pets allowed in the apartment?

No, pets are not allowed.

Is smoking allowed in the apartments?

Smoking in apartments is prohibited

Is it possible to extend my stay in one of the apartments?

As long as apartments are available, this is no issue at all. We’re happy to see how we can help

What is the check in/out time?

Guaranteed check in time is 3 pm and check out time is 10 am.


Do you have payment-related questions?

For questions about any payment, it’s best to contact us by telephone for the fastest answer.

When do I have to pay for my reservation?

We will send an invoice ahead of your stay. If you stay longer than 30 days, we send you an invoice per month.

Are the prices shown per person or per room?

The price we show is for the room for the entire length of the stay.

When can I expect to receive my security deposit refund?

The security deposit will be refunded minus any charges within 30 days from the end of the lease

Can my security deposit be used as my last month’s rent?

No. The security deposit cannot be used towards last month’s rent. Your security deposit is used for any property damage that you may incur. The remaining balance will be refunded to you.


Will there be extra costs for my booking?

Yes. There will be €45,- charged for cleaning.


What do you do with my personal information?

We do not sell, trade or rent Users personal identification information to others.
